Real Estate Professionals Support the Idea of Establishing a Unified Association for the Sector

Real Estate Experts Support Proposal for a Unified Real Estate Association in Bahrain Experts and professionals in the real estate market have expressed their support for a proposal by former President of the Bahrain Real Estate Association, Nasser Al-Ali, regarding the establishment of a unified entity representing all real estate professionals and defending the interests of the sector. They emphasized that such an entity would help stimulate the real estate market and create new opportunities. For his part, CEO of Effects Real Estate, Mr. Anwar Asaad, stated: “This proposal is an idea that the market urgently needs, and it contributes to the development of the real estate sector after a period of slowdown.” He added: “However, it is essential to establish a clear framework for the association’s objectives and a solid foundation for creating a strong and effective entity. This will prevent the repetition of previous cases where associations were launched without real activity, new names were added without purpose, or entities were created without a clear vision or work plan serving the sector.” He further emphasized: “The main goals should focus on providing sustainable solutions and a vision that meets the aspirations of the sector, revitalizes the market, and creates successful opportunities that enhance the attractiveness of the real estate market, encouraging investors and developers to return strongly, especially after interest rate cuts.” He expressed his hope for the creation of a strong and influential association representing the private sector, capable of impacting government decisions and legislation before they are issued, making the private sector a key partner in decision-making, and enacting laws that serve and represent the sector before all governmental bodies.
